Instructions

1. Make sure that all other gas appliances are turned off.
2. Operate the gas appliance being checked, allowing approximately 10 minutes for the appliance to warm up.
3. Ensure that the appliance will run for the duration of the test.
4. Start timer.
5. Observe meter test dial and stop the timer after one complete revolution.
6. Turn off the appliance.
7. The calculated appliance heat input will be displayed in both Gross and Net.

4. Record the meter reading (the last 3 digits*).
5. Start timer.
6. After 2 minutes (and any additional seconds for the display to change) stop the timer and take another reading.
7. Record the final reading (the last 3 digits*).
8. Turn off the appliance.
9. The calculated appliance heat input will be displayed in both Gross and Net.
